Cafes and restaurants in the new part of town.

Bar Peña de los Cazadores
The great thing about the new part of Vejer is that the restaurants are open all year round, though one or two restrict their opening times during the winter months. The new part gets more winter sun than the old town, making it a good place to eat breakfast outdoors or linger over a coffee with friends. New town restaurants tend to have an everyday ambience, but the food is often excellent, and so is the value for money. On fiestas and holidays, some of these eateries may close for all or part of the day.

Bar el Roío (San Miguel 62). Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day except Wednesday, this truly Spanish bar is very popular with Vejeriegos.

Bar El Siglo (San Miguel 34). A very popular bar which serves tapas and raciones. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day except Monday, this is one of the few places in the new part where the outside seating isn’t protected by plastic walls.

Bar Peña Los Cazadores (Buenavista 30). Along with the next-door El Rincón del Tapeo, this bar’s on-street seating provides a winter gathering-point for Vejer people. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day except Thursday, this eatery is well-known for the quality of its meat dishes. https://www.facebook.com/CafeBarPenaDeCazadores
